What is a PRN?

The Payment Reference Number (PRN)is a system-generated number that the SSS provides and that members use as a reference whenever they pay for their monthly contribution.

Here are the 4 Ways to Generate a PRN:

Via Phonecall
You can contact SSS using their hotline number from Mondays until Fridays at any time of the day because they are answering inquiries for 24 hours a day. You may contact them at 920-6446 to 55 or their toll-free number at 1-800-10-225.

Via Email
You can send them an email requesting for a PRN at this email address:  [email protected]. Take note that you must indicate your full name, date of birth, and your SSS number on the email that you will send.

Via E-Centers or Member Services Kiosks 
You can also generate a PRN by using the member services kiosks once you visit any SS branch. If you are having a hard time using the machine, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance from any SSS employee, for sure they will be more than happy to help you.

Via SSS Online Channel
If you already have an SSS online account, internet connection, and a mobile device this will be perfect for you, especially if you don’t have much time to create an email or make a call. Just follow this guide:
-Visit SSS website
-Click “Member Login” box
-Type in your username and password
-Once logged in you will already see options including Payment Reference Number (PRN). Just click it.
-Once you clicked it, a PRN will be displayed on the screen and take note of it.
